Shout-Outs & Celebrations
(Consider sharing your shout-out!)

  • Fourth Grade collected gently used books to send to schools that suffered damage from Hurricane Matthew. Way to take action!
  • K team has swooped into action to help us prepare for Tuesday’s media event. Amazing flexibility and willingness to jump in to support the cause … thank you!
  • AND, thanks to Katie for volunteering to serve as our substitute choir master for Tuesday's event in Angi's absence. (It's wonderfully helpful to have an Assistant Principal that can do just about anything!)
  • Many thanks to Judy and our Wiley Pals for a fabulous “community event” this past week.
  • Shout Out to Lynne for taking over the Monday Chinese Rotation! Thank you!

    • Loved all the Dot Day display’s from first quarter!
    • If you haven’t already… Don’t forget to start setting up your hallway display with a title/description and begin some sort of background for what your Q2 unit might include.

      • Put some sort of border, backing or matting behind each student work.
      • Do not hang them in a straight line, try to offset them.
      • Include at least one 3D item per grade level.
      • Make sure it looks neat (especially if you use butcher paper, make sure it is cut neatly or folded to hide the uneven edge.
      • Don’t do it all in one day break it up so you do a part each week until you have it all complete.
